Bruce Lee rightly said,

‘Fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.’With this spirit, Avnika Shah (Class 7) of Dikshant International School participated in the State Level Taekwondo Championship organised by Nainital District Taekwondo Association held at Gaulapar, Haldwani on 17 and 18 June 2023After a tough series of fighting bouts, Avnika bagged a Gold Medal in fighting (Kyourgi), another Gold Medal in Attack Defence Techniques (Pair Poimsae) and a Silver Medal in Individual Poomsae.The path to a black belt is not at all smooth sailing. We proudly announce that Avnika proved her strength and ability by achieving the Black Belt.

She has also qualified the National Taekwondo Championship that will be held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.The enthusiasm and great zeal displayed by her was commendable. She has made all of us proud with her extraordinary performance. We wish her a very good luck for the Nationals.
